Thank you for visiting the Louisiana Heart Gallery website where we believe every child deserves a loving family to call their own.
There is a great need for parents willing to be licensed foster parents, able to provide a temporary home for children needing a stable, loving environment. There is also a need for parents wanting to adopt children that are legally available to be adopted. 
If you are interested in fostering temporarily, or fostering to adopt, you will first need to become a Certified Foster Parent and will begin the process by taking one of the classes listed below.

Maddox

Maddox is a friendly child who loves to engage in conversation. Maddox loves being outdoors where he can ride his bike and fish. He also enjoys reading books and playing video games. His favorite foods are pizza and just about anything from McDonald's. Maddox does well in school but does benefit from extra support in the school and home setting. He is looking for a family that will help him reach his full academic potential. Maddox says that he wants to be adopted and would like two parents and would like other children in the home. Jakario

Jakario is very sweet, helpful and quite the chatterbox. He enjoys talking so much that conversations come easily to him. He loves to talk about his hobbies, including bowling, playing video games, eating at McDonald's and going to Chuckie Cheeses. His newest interest is watching The Food Network where he has become fascinated by various foods and cooking techniques. He desires a family who likes to go to the movies, play games, and fried chicken, one of his favorite meals. He is looking for a forever family who is willing to give unconditional love and understanding. Jakario is a loving child who has a lot of love to give.

Dakota

Dakota is a 14 year old boy who enjoys basketball, fishing, video games and science. He does well in school. Dakota enjoys reading comic and chapter books. He also enjoys playing cards. He likes to relax by watching movies and professional basketball and football. Dakota is a quiet but friendly young man. He is honest and open with his feelings. He helps around the house. He is learning to become an independent young man. Dakota has a lot of energy and he is looking for a forever home who can match his level of energy. Ian is handsome 15 years old Caucasian male.  Ian is a teenager who loves to play basketball and draw. He likes spending his days hanging out at the park while playing with his friends. Ian does not have a favorite food, he enjoys all kinds of foods. Ian is a "go with the flow" kind of teenager as he is very easy going and does not have many complaints. He is looking for a forever family that can offer him different experiences and show him new things. He will need a family that can provide structure and attention to his needs. Ian is in search of a loving two parent family that will love him unconditionally and help him reach his fullest potential.
